I can personalise the class for you, help you to understand the basics of Ashtanga, to give you the confidence to approach group classes or help you to progress to a more advanced practice.

DANCE

class timetable

Classes are currently suspended but stay tuned and I’ll keep you updated!

my dance background

I have been dancing since I could walk. It’s been a part of my life in different forms for as long as I can remember. I trained professionally to perform, but after moving to London and teaching for the first time I came to realise that teaching was where I belonged. To me it’s about using dance as something more than being something to watch. It’s something you can embody. Anyone can dance.

I teach in various locations around the UK, ranging from primary and secondary schools, to town halls and care homes. I work with students who are in professional training, completely new to dance as well as dance for health (Dance for Dementia and Dance for Parkinsons).

Being a freelance artist has meant I have had the opportunity to work with a number of wonderful companies including, English National Ballet, Rambert, Dance West and The Royal Opera House.

I have recently had to move all my classes online and have taught for the new 'Rambert at Home' App and lead classes for English National Ballets Dance for Parkinsons programme.

My classes are inclusive and nurturing. They will tend to have a strong technical base, with lots of opportunity to be free, and to find your own creativity. I love a good story and will use lots of visualisation and storytelling.
